Went to the War and Peace show today. Not bad, maybe not quite as good as previous years, but not bad all the same.
Few pics:
T34 - if I was going to buy a tank, I'd want one of these:
Here are a few Land Rover 101 Foward Control GS pics. I had a dream of buying one of these - really like them. Sat in one that was for sale and there's no way I could own one. Way too small. Another dream dashed. On to the next fantasy...
One for Jim (RS) who would definitely fit in one:
[thanks Jim for the prod on the 'TVR's going slowly isn't it?' - yeah, well, it's driving weather and I've also found my weekends full recently....
Last pic for this year's show, and winner for the funniest, best and most pointless:
A blog mainly about my TVR Chimaera, but occasionally rambling off into other territory.

Goodwood Festival Of Speed 2011
Awesome as ever. Hard to describe what a 'proper' even this is with something for any car nut. All major manufacturers are there with big stands (not that interesting, although the Alfa stand was crammed full of very good looking women, and the Morgan stand was cool). Rally stage, race car paddocks, tanks etc. Excellent.
Few pics:
Last TVR Griffith ever made:
Almost too nice:
Of course old boy, rude not to:
Celebrating 50 years of the E-Type:

Or like this - I'm not choosy:

Give that priceless old Fezza some stick why don't you:
Twin engined Seat - sounded proper!

A metro? Granny car:
Indycar Lotus, beautiful:
A bit like crocodile dundee "you call that a turbo? This is a turbo!":
XJ13 - too cool:
No explanation necessary:
Adrian Newey: "Here I am, brain the size of a planet...":
Jags again:
You want F1?
What a lovely sound - Mazda Rotary - find it on YouTube.
Well, quite:
Fezza:

All hail:
all hail (again):
Not much you can say about this apart from you'd be hard pressed to find a petrolhead who wouldn't be willing to be separated from his right testicle to own it:
V16 BRM:
Ken Block arrives:
"I know, we'll stick and aeroplane engine in it!":
Nice one Leon:
This got very close to the outright hill record:
One or two for Neil Dean for taking the mick on Facebook:
And then they made the Fiat Strada. What went wrong?
